I graduated from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 1957. After graduation, I worked in Boston designing boxes. As a graphic designer, I originated the Hewlett Packard logo, redesigned the Texaco logo and many more. For 33 years I worked as an artist illustrator with Sylvania and GTE Government Systems. During this time I took extra design courses at Tufts University, Boston University and studied under Marshall Joyce, Don Stone, Virginia Avery and Helen Van Wyck.

In Massachusetts, with five others I helped originate the North River Arts Society, which is now one of the largest south of Boston. It is a privilege to still be a member of this group, as well as the Pembroke Art Association, Duxbury Art Society, and Plymouth Guild in Plymouth, MA. In Marshfield, I have paintings as well as prints of local scenes available as notecards.

On the West Coast my mentors include Cathy Quiel, Michael Drury, John Iwerks and Jim Anderson. My memberships are with the Goleta Valley and Santa Barbara Art Associations. I have sold previously in the Annual Juried Fine Art Santa Barbara Show. My first love, East Coast and West Coast, is water media because of its challenges.
